This policy explains how Pyrotechnics Pte. Ltd. ("Pyrotechnics", "we", "us") collects, uses, discloses and protects personal data when you visit pyrotechnics.io or ask us for a demo of FireChat. We handle personal data in line with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).
This policy covers our website and our own sales and marketing contact with you. When a business uses FireChat to answer its own customers' calls and messages, that business decides how its customers' data is used, and its own privacy notice applies.
What we collect

We don't ask for sensitive personal data on this website, and we don't knowingly collect data from children.
How we use it
- To reply to your demo request or enquiry and to arrange and follow up on demos.
- To keep the website working, secure and fast, and to fix errors.
- To understand which pages and campaigns bring people to us, so we can improve our marketing.
We use your data only for these purposes, or for other purposes we tell you about and, where required, get your consent for. We don't sell personal data.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies (including your browser's local storage):
- Essential: remembering choices you make on this site, such as your cookie preference.
- Performance monitoring (New Relic): runs for every visitor to keep the site working. It measures page load times and errors and uses a session cookie. It does not record your session or track you for advertising.
- Advertising measurement (Google): only if you click "Accept" on our cookie banner, to measure which ads and pages lead to demo requests. If you decline, no Google advertising tags load and no ad identifiers are kept or sent with your demo request.
You can change your choice at any time using Cookie settings at the bottom of any page.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the website and our business, under contracts that require them to protect it:
- Amazon Web Services: website hosting and delivery, and processing of demo-form submissions (in Singapore).
- New Relic: website performance and error monitoring (United States).
- Google: advertising measurement, only if you accept advertising cookies.
- Content delivery networks (unpkg, Google Fonts) that serve parts of the website's code and fonts to your browser, and therefore see your IP address.
We may also disclose personal data where the law requires it.
Transfers outside Singapore
Some of these providers process data outside Singapore, for example in the United States. Where that happens, we take steps to make sure your data receives a standard of protection comparable to the PDPA, such as contractual safeguards.
How long we keep it
We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as the law requires, and then delete or anonymise it.
How we protect it
We use reasonable security arrangements to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and limiting access to people who need it.
Your rights under the PDPA
You can ask us to:
- give you access to the personal data we hold about you, and tell you how it has been used or disclosed;
- correct personal data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- stop using your personal data, by withdrawing your consent. We'll tell you if that means we can no longer provide something you asked for.
